The Planet Participates in 2008 Affiliate Summit East |
| The Planet, the global leader in IT hosting, today announced its participation at the 2008 Affiliate Summit East, held August 10-12 at the Boston Seaport Hotel. The company will showcase its partner program at Table 70 during the Affiliate Meet Market.
The Planet affiliate program provides a 100 percent commission to registered affiliates who refer new customers to the company. The one-time commission, based on the referred customer’s total monthly recurring order value, is paid to affiliates 45 days after a new order is placed. There is no cap on the size of the order or the resulting commission paid.
“At the request of our customers, we introduced our affiliate program seven months ago,” said James P. Treuting, The Planet’s vice president of sales and operations. “We’ve seen outstanding success so far, which has led to enhancements including increases in affiliate commissions and a shortened payout-waiting period. The Affiliate Summit, held several times a year, offers an educational showcase for affiliates, vendors and merchants.
